Experience and Notable Transactions
Aulia has advised clients in connection with over US$500 billion worth infrastructure projects including coal handling facilities, transportation and roads, bridges and conveyor facilities.
Aulia has extensive capital markets experience and has advised large Indonesian public companies in their Initial Public Offerings and in connection with offerings to non-U.S. persons outside the United States in reliance of Regulation (S) and Rule 144a. He has also advised large Indonesian public companies in connection with rights issues, material transactions and conflict of interest transactions governed under Indonesian Capital Market regulations.
Aulia also advises in Indonesian borrowers in financing transactions including in connection with a US$300,000,000 syndicated loan facility involving large Japanese banks and regional banks.
In addition Aulia has experience in advising the Indonesian government. In one notable case he advised an Indonesian regional government in a dispute against the shareholder of a large coal company with respect to its share divestment obligations as required under its Coal Contract of Work.
Aulia also has extensive experience in natural resources projects and has advised clients in connection with a number of Coal Contract of Works and conversion of a Mining Authorization into a Mining Business Licenses.
